M\u00e4rz &#8211; Food Tour und Midtown"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Auf quasi jeder St\u00e4dtereise mache ich eine Food Tour, so auch in New York. Dante von Nice Guy Tours (und ja, Dante ist der Nice Guy, das ist ein one man Betrieb) f\u00fchrte mich und zwei weitere Teilnehmerinnen durch die Lokale der Lower East Side. Dort lebten zur Hochzeit der Immigration 1890-1910 vor allem osteurop\u00e4ische Juden, und die pr\u00e4gten das kulinarische Erbe des Viertels (und weit dar\u00fcber hinaus). Ist ein sehr sch\u00f6ner Spaziergang durchs westliche Manhattan, mal was ganz anderes. Kein Wunder, dass dieses neue Parkkonzept (auf alten Hochbahnschienen) jetzt in vielen anderen St\u00e4dten kopiert wird.
