Mai: Red Rock Canyon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Keine Sorge, die Bilder von Las Vegas selbst kommen noch, ich bin noch am Sammeln.<\/p>\n<p>Heute morgen bin ich aber erstmal in den Red Rock Canyon gefahren. Das ist ein vom Bund betriebenes Naturschutzgebiet (eine sog. National Conservation Area, nochmal was anderes als eine National Preserve) in unmittelbarer N\u00e4he von Las Vegas. Das habe ich 2010 v\u00f6llig \u00fcbersehen und ich muss sagen v\u00f6llig zu unrecht. Klar, es ist nochmal ein anderer Teil der Mojavew\u00fcste, aber diesmal mit ziemlich spektakul\u00e4ren Felsformationen, das Ganze erschlossen als 13-Meilen Rundstra\u00dfe, also gut f\u00fcr 840px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Heute Abend gehe ich in eine Show: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.raidingtherockvault.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Raiding the Rock Vault<\/a> (Raubzug im Rockarchiv). Das sind nicht ganz so bekannte Musiker aus ziemlich bekannten, zumeist \u00e4lteren Rockbands, die die gro\u00dfen Klassiker der Rockmusik covern. Da ich schon immer der Meinung war, dass eine gute Coverversion besser sein kann als ein mittelm\u00e4\u00dfig gespieltes Original (wo die S\u00e4nger oft einfach nicht mehr den Tonumfang haben wie in ihren gro\u00dfen Zeiten) bin ich mal gespannt.<\/p>\n<p>Was ich morgen tags\u00fcber mache wei\u00df ich noch nicht (Las Vegas selbst bringt am abends\/nachts mehr).
